Q: How long have you been an interior designer?
Lauren: I’ve been working in residential interior design for 15 years. I started my own design business in 2011.
Q: What is your design aesthetic?
Lauren: Studio L consistently delivers imaginative interiors and spaces that are uniquely customized to fit each individual client. In early design meetings, I try to really hone in on someone’s personal style and vision for their space, and deliver a design that is beyond what they could envision!

Lauren: Studio L Interior Design specializes in full service residential interior design projects in the greater Houston, TX area. We also offer E-Design Services for clients all over the country. E-Design is perfect for homeowners who are excited to tackle their project in a more hands-on, budget-friendly approach.

Q: Who is this space for?
Lauren: This dining room belongs to a young, fun professional couple that live in the Houston Heights neighborhood.
Q: How long did this space take to complete?
Lauren: We completed this project pre-pandemic so the timeline was reasonable! From concept to final install, this project took about 3 months
Q: What is one element you love about this space the most?
Lauren: My personal favorite elements are the dramatic olive green velvet drapes, the funky abstracted yet subtle wallpaper, and the interesting mix of chairs.
