Meet So-Cal based interior designers, Lilli Morgan & Savannah Duren. After working together at a residential design firm these two teamed up and became the Co-founders of LS Design Studio.

Q: How did LS Design Studio come to be?
Lilli Morgan & Savannah Duren: We started LS Design Studio a little under 2 years ago after working together at another residential design firm in San Diego. We always knew we had similar styles (and work ethics) and found that both of our skillsets complimented each other really well. We figured we had nothing to lose and we just went for it! So far, it has been such an amazing experience and the best decision we could have made.
Q: What do you love most about having a Co-founder/business partner?
Lilli Morgan & Savannah Duren: There are really too many perks to count but our favorite is that every design that we've put out has been created through a completely collaborative process. Every design is touched by both of us and we think this helps each space be that much more creative. We try to push each other to design outside of the box features that we may not have come up with on our own.
Q: How long have you been interior designers?
Lilli Morgan & Savannah Duren: To date, Sav has been a designer for 5 years and Lilli for 4.
Q: What is your design aesthetic?
Lilli Morgan & Savannah Duren: This is a very tough question for us because we appreciate and design in so many different aesthetics- it truly depends on the client and the project. Lately, we feel we've been designing a lot of more traditional spaces that have modern twists which we've really enjoyed.
Q: Who/Where do you offer your design services to?
Lilli Morgan & Savannah Duren: Although our home base is San Diego, we offer services nationwide. We have projects all over from California to Georgia, Texas, Oregon, and Hawaii to name a few.
Q: Who is this space for?
Lilli Morgan & Savannah Duren: This kitchen was for a lovely couple in Carlsbad - they wanted an elevated space that could stand up to high traffic while still being elegant and sophisticated.
Q: How long did this space take to complete?
Lilli Morgan & Savannah Duren: From start to finish, this space took around 3 months to complete.
Q: What is one element you love about this space the most?
Lilli Morgan & Savannah Duren: We absolutely love the dark charcoal cabinet with the canned detail. This is actually the coffee bar so each door tucks in and accent lighting automatically pops on.
Q: Where do you get inspiration for designs?
Lilli Morgan & Savannah Duren: So many places! Pinterest, Instagram, on walks, fashion, through travels, movies... this list could go on and on.
